About Owning a Condo in Cocoa Beach

Cocoa is the nearest ocean beach accessible to those who have visited all the attractions of Orlando, including Disney World, Universal Studios and Sea World. Cape Canaveral lies to the north of Cocoa Beach, and the city of Melbourne to the south of it.

The beaches of the west coast are very good with their warm waters in the Gulf of Mexico, their powdery soft sand and many tourist attractions, but the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean also have something to offer. Here you can find less crowded beaches. The waters of the Atlantic Ocean tend to be colder than the waters in the Gulf of Mexico; but during the summer months, the water is certainly warm enough for a comfortable swim. Western beaches on the Gulf of Mexico are usually very shallow, you can walk hundreds of meters from the shore and still stand in shallow water. This creates a good safe environment for children, but is not suitable for surfing. On the Atlantic Ocean, you can find very good ocean surf, and Cocoa Beach is a favorite place for surfers.

Who Prefers Condos of Cocoa Beach

One of the most pleasant features of Cocoa Beach is the absence of crowds of tourists. The communities of Cocoa Beach, Cape Canaveral and Melbourne are mostly residential neighborhoods populated by retired families and many workers from the nearby NASA spaceport. There are many hotels, motels, condos and tourist homes available, but they are not as concentrated as in other coastal places in Florida. Thirty kilometers of sandy beaches of Cocoa Beach and additional kilometers of beautiful beaches heading south through Melbourne are usually frequented only by residents of Florida and a small scattering of tourists. Thus, here is the most comfortable beach holiday.
